************************************************************ Super Sites (Grades 3-6)-Candace Elmore Session 1-Only We will explore some wonderful educational web sites for use in grades 3-6.
************************************************************ Lure of the Labrynth-Candace Elmore Session-2 Only This is an introduction to the problem solving Lure of the Labrynth web site.
************************************************************ Librarian Roundtable-Katie Dailey et al 7:45-12:45 [MHS Library] (meet as whole group and break out into grade levels) Librarian Roundtable will provide a forum for librarians to discuss and share a variety of topics such as budgets, Lincoln Trail issues, collaboration, technology, etc.
************************************************************ Lumen- beyond the basics-Lauretta Morris Session 2-Only [lab] Lumen Software offers a huge number of "extra" teacher tools that you may not have seen. Come and see what else you can be doing with this new software.

************************************************************ Website creation with Anedix-Angie Perry Sessions 3 & 4 (Repeat) Marshall teachers will learn how to use our new content management system to create their class web page.
************************************************************ RM Easiteach-Becky Farrell Sessions 1 & 2 (Repeat) [lab--starboard] This software is available with new Hitachi STAR boards. It is an alternative software from the STAR board software which provides more pre-made flash manipulatives. Come see the basics of using this software
************************************************************ Spark labs for Sci. teachers-Bear/Rees 7:45-12:45 [Science rooms] Session will include a demonstration on how to use the pasco probes with the sparks to do Biology, Inquiry, and Anatomy/Physiology labs in the classroom at the high school level but could be done at the junior high levels also.
************************************************************ Photostory-Becky Farrell Session 4-Only [lab] Photo Story is a user-friendly tool that will help you create fun video stories by adding special features to your photographs. Turn boring lessons and assignments into exciting projects students will love to create.
This session will provide you with the basic steps needed to start creating your own Photo Story! Learn how to record narration for your pictures, add titles and text, and insert background music. Photo Stories can be shared in the classroom as well as with family and friends. They also make great keepsakes for your students at the end of the school year.
************************************************************ Movie Maker - Lauretta Morris Session 3/4 Combined Session [lab] MovieMaker software is free software from Microsoft that provides basic video editing capability. We will learn the basics and provide some ideas of how you can use it in your classroom.
************************************************************ K-2 Websites- Susan Taylor Session 1-Only We will view a variety of websites for use in the K-2 classroom.
************************************************************ Education City (Grades K-6)-Mary Kash Session 3-Only This is will be an introduction to the Education City software
************************************************************ Moodle Session (more info to come) All Day Session Description…We will be covering Moodle basics: journals, assignments, grades, quizzes, etc. I will spend a little time going over how to use Moodle then give you lots of work time with Moodle. Bringing your own laptop will be recommended but not required.
************************************************************ Exam View - Mary Alice Schmidt Session 3, repeated session 4 Learn the basics of using Exam View for creating tests. This will include: Picking questions from a test bank, creating your own questions, editing questions, and printing single or multiple versions of tests.
